Is this everything I need to get a ECS Labourers Card?

No, there are two stages to getting an ECS Labourers Card, you need to complete the relevant training and we offer Safe2Site.
The other part is the ECS Health Safety and Environment Test for Operatives, £55.80 at your local test center.
Once both parts are completed, contact CSCS to order the ECS Card, this costs £55.80 or £45 for renewals
Safe2Site does not include either the ECS HS&E test or the ECS Card application.

When will I need to renew my ECS card? Do I need to take the test again?

Your ECS Labourers Card expires after 3 years. Safe2Site is valid for 5 years and the ECS HS&E test are valid for 2 years so you will need to take the ECS HS&E again when you re-apply for your ECS Labourers Card.

What mark do I need to get to pass the test?

The pass mark is 80% and all questions are equally weighted. This means you need to score a minimum of 24 out of 30 to pass.

Is this course approved for ECS?

Yes, the Safe2Site Online CSCS Level 1 Health and Safety qualification is approved for use in ECS Labourer Card applications.

This means that successfully completing the Safe2Site course will meet the health and safety training requirement for obtaining an ECS Labourer Card.
