COSAC are proud to announce that we’ve been nominated for two awards at the forthcoming NCE TechFest 2022 awards. We’ve been recognised by the NCE for our services to innovation and technological advancements and have received two nominations in the Innovation Incubator and Technology Provider Trailblazer categories. The awards take place on the 24th of November 2022 at the Leonardo Royal London Tower Bridge Hotel.
The NCE awards is a highly-regarded event in the construction industry calendar. The TechFest awards celebrates forward-thinking, innovative technology solutions from across the engineering and construction industry. The event attracts top talent from across the construction industry, with a day of networking events, guest speakers, and panel discussions before the awards ceremony takes place in the evening.
Constructors, engineers, consultants, architects, clients and leading innovators in technology across the sector will be in attendance. There will be exciting industry-leading talks on innovative technology, modern infrastructure, and the future of digital technologies, plus a variety of other subjects across the day. For the first time, there will be three stages at this year’s TechFest, the Main Stage Programme and the Materials Innovation stage and the new for 2022, the Digital Technologies stage.
We’ve been nominated for two awards, the Technology Provider Trailblazer and the Innovation Incubator. Both NCE awards are highly prestigious categories at the TechFest ceremony. The eventual winners will be recognised for the following achievements:
This category recognises businesses that are driving change and innovation through new technological solutions and products for use in the construction and civil engineering industry. The award is open to suppliers, tech companies and any providers that have demonstrated a successful development or project between January 2021 to July 2022, that have had a substantial impact.
This category recognises start-ups and small or medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), specifically companies with under 250 employees. The award will recognise those that are driving change and innovation with the development of modernised, creative concepts that provide an alternative offering to larger companies within the sector.
Both awards COSAC have been shortlisted for will be judged on the same criteria. COSAC will be present on the day as we put forward our pitch for the Innovation Incubator award as part of the programme of events scheduled for the Main Stage.
See what our Academy Director Andy Mason CBE, had to say about COSAC’s offering and our nominations:
“Our Safe2Site course is a bestseller, and has gone through many improvements and updates, but the main change introduced in the last year is that we have developed our own remote invigilation platform to ensure the integrity of the final test that leads to certification.
“These two nominations at the NCE awards, plus the nomination for Digital Tech Business of the Year at the Halton Business Awards, have contributed to boosting our confidence in what we are doing. We interact and receive extremely valuable feedback from our customers daily, which is key for the improvement of our services. However, being recognised by an industry which is advancing so fast in terms of technological development and competing with cutting-edge tech companies is a milestone for us as well. We are going in the right direction, and developing our own digital products is central to the future of COSAC”.
We are extremely proud of the nominations we have received, and we do not intend to rest on our laurels and stop there. As we write this, we’re constantly looking at ways to improve our course offerings and our overall platform, with new features and upgrades to constantly improve the user experience. With accessibility and sustainability at the forefront of our guiding principles, the future for COSAC is set to be very exciting.
